The Indianapolis Jazz Foundation is proud to present education programs in Marion County schools at little-to-no cost, so that everyone can experience the music.

The Jazz Futures is an all-encompassing program for the high school jazz musician. Participants will engage in approximately 22 sessions during this seven month program, including tutelage in jazz repertoire, improvisation, beginning jazz arranging, jazz history, and much more.
Experience the evolution of jazz in an immersive show featuring a seven-piece band, historical films, poetry narration, and dynamic lighting - all engaging the audience in a rich musical journey.
Jazz Impressions is an immersive program for students aged elementary to high school. It explores jazz's construction and distinctive elements through interactive performances similar to our Jazz in the 21st Century program.
A workshop clinic led by professional musicians to form and develop jazz ensembles in schools, offering weekly sessions throughout a semester that focus on foundational skills for aspiring young jazz musicians.
A series of 3 programs in alliance with The Indianapolis Public Library designed to bring jazz music to family audiences. This is a free education program.
